JobSmart Ltd (“JobSmart Ltd”, “JobSmart”, “we” or “us”) owns and operates the JobSmart mobile app and the related website, Job-seeker portal and Recruiter portal located at We have created this Privacy Policy in order to disclose our use of the personal data you give to us when you access or use JobSmart’s online and mobile services (collectively, the “Website”). Before using the JobSmart online and mobile services (collectively, the “Website”), you represent that you have read, understand and accept the Privacy Policy.

1. Consent of the Information Collected and Utilized
1.1.JobSmart offers any user the choice to utilize the JobSmart Website. If you create a profile on, or apply to a job through or otherwise use the JobSmart Website, you are specifically consenting to the use of any personal information you have provided to use as set forth herein and in the Terms of Service.

1.2. You can use and register on JobSmart as a Job-seeker or as a Recruiter.

When you create an account on JobSmart as a Job-seeker, you must provide the following information:
  • Email address
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Password
  • Date of Birth
  • Nationality
  • Country of Residence
  • Languages Spoken
  • Education Level
  • Details of Work Experience
As a Job-seeker, you can add optionally the following information:
  • Gender
  • Phone Number
  • Education Details
  • Link to Linkedin Profile
  • Links to Facebook, Twitter and Skype Accounts *
  • One Photo
Excluding the information marked with an “*”, the information provided by you will be shared with Recruiters only with your consent, implied when applying for vacancies within JobSmart. Information market with an "*" will never be disclosed to Recruiters.

When you create an account as a Recruiter, you must provide the following information:
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Name
  • Password
  • Company Name *
  • Company Description *
  • Company Industry
  • Number of Employees at Company
  • Company Logo *
As a Recruiter, you can add optionally the following information:
  • Job Postings *
The information marked with an “*” will be shared with Job-seekers should you post a job on JobSmart.

1.3. By accepting this agreement, you, your legal, judicial or statuary representative agree that your personal data relating and the data collected by JobSmart is being processed. You also agree that: - the data is collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes; - the data collected is adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the purposes for which they are collected and/or further processed; - that JobSmart can further process the data for historical, statistical or scientific purposes. All the data collected by us is used for the scope of JobSmart.

1.4. When you request information, subscribe for a service, register as a user, upload content or otherwise actively send us data on the Website, we usually collect data including, but not limited to, username/email address, password, first and last name, occupation and any other data included in a submitted profile. In each such instance, you will know what data we collect through the Website, because you actively submit it.

As part of the standard operation of the Website, we will automatically collect information from your computer or mobile device, including, but not limited to, your browser type, operating system, IP address and the domain name from which you accessed the site, and if you are accessing our site with your mobile device, type of mobile device. In addition, we may record actions taken on the Website including, but not limited to, date and times of use, clicks, swipes, page views, the amount of time you spend on each page, and search queries. JobSmart reserves the right to match your IP address or other information with other information about you in any way permitted by applicable law. We will store this information on our equipment or the equipment of third parties that we have a relationship with for that purpose.

If you access or use the Website on your mobile telephone or other mobile device, including tablets, we collect mobile device identifiers. JobSmart may create and assign to your device an identifier that is similar to an account number. We may collect the name you have associated with your device, device type, telephone number, country, and any other information you choose to provide, such as user name or email address.

2. Uses of Information
2.1. When you submit information on JobSmart, this information will be used for the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy. JobSmart uses this information and information generated when you use our Website, including but not limited to your profile, your clicks, taps, swipes, job applications and job postings to provide our service and features to you, to provide your information to recruiters, to provide recruiter information to you and to measure and improve those services and features, and to provide you with customer support.

2.2. JobSmart may also use the information to prevent potential illegal activities and activities that are detrimental to you or other users. We may investigate and disclose information from or about you or your user of JobSmart if we have a good faith belief that such investigation of disclosure is (a) reasonably necessary to comply with legal process and law enforcement instructions and orders; (b) helpful to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with the use of the Website; or (c) protect our rights, reputation, property, safety, or that of the public. We may use a variety of methods to detect and address anomalous activity and screen content to prevent abuse such as spam. These efforts may on occasion result in a temporary or permanent suspension of termination of some function for some users. We may use your IP address and mobile device information to help diagnose problems with JobSmart’s service and to administer JobSmart’s Website. Your IP address and mobile device information may also be used to help identify you, your location, and your online profile and to gather broad demographic information. JobSmart may maintain (as permitted by applicable law) your data following your termination of your relationship with us. We may delete your user data as permitted by applicable law. If you provide credit, debit or other payment card and related details to us in order to make a payment, JobSmart will use those details only for the purpose of processing the payment. JobSmart may also aggregate your data with other data, for the purposes set forth above.

2.3. You agree that JobSmart may, as part of its services to you, communicate with you, or initiate communication with you on behalf of a third party, through your JobSmart account or through other means made available through your contact information such as email and phone. If and to the extent permitted by applicable law, JobSmart, or our designated third party partners, may also use your contact information to (i) send you job alerts; (ii) create and account; (iii) send you information about JobSmart. JobSmart may use your profile data to tailor your experience on JobSmart’s Website, show you content that we think you may be interested in, and display content according to your preferences. Your personal information gets placed onto JobSmart’s Website when you upload or edit a profile. To the extent you create a profile, you are making your profile information available to third parties who may be interested in you as an employee, search engines, or to the general public by posting your personal information on the internet. This may be crawled by, and displayed through, search engines when someone searches for your name. This means that third parties can view the personal information contained in your profile and you may receive unsolicited contact from parties unaffiliated with JobSmart and for whom we have no responsibility. If you do not want your personal information posted on the Website, you should not upload it. JobSmart reserves the right to charge third parties a fee for accessing your information as part of JobSmart’s services. At your directions, we may also send your profile/application to third parties if you choose to apply for a job listing.

3. Security
The Website has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under JobSmart’s control. JobSmart uses SSL encryption, access control policies, anti-virus programs and firewalls to protect information under our control. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. In addition, please note that emails, messages sent via your web browser, and other similar means of communication with other users are not encrypted. We strongly advise you not to communicate information through these means. Therefore, while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its security.

4. Links
The JobSmart Website may contain links to third-party websites. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by JobSmart through JobSmart. This Privacy Policy does not apply to, nor is JobSmart responsible for, any content, privacy practices, or conduct of such websites. We encourage all users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy policies of each and every website including those that collect personally identifiable information.

5. Cookies
Cookies are packets of information that are stored on your computer's hard drive. Cookies allow JobSmart to keep track of the areas of your usage of the JobSmart Website and thereby offer you easy access to the information you find most relevant. They also allow us to greet you by name when you visit and to remember that you have already registered. No secure information or information about your personal identity is ever contained within our cookies. Your web browser is most likely set to automatically accept cookies, but you can consult your browser help file if you wish to change these settings. If you elect not to receive cookies, registered users will not be able to view a personalized home page, and will view the default homepage instead.

6. Amendments
JobSmart may amend this Privacy Policy at any time. If we are going to use personally identifiable information collected through JobSmart in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify users via email and/or posting a notice on JobSmart’s Website for 30 days prior to such use or by other means required by law.

7. Assignment
If there is a change of ownership or control in JobSmart’s business (whether by merger, sale, or otherwise) or if there is an asset sale, the user information, including your personal information, could be disclosed as part of such a process and/or sold as part of that transaction and your personally identifying information potentially could be used by the purchaser. However, if that business materially changes this statement or the information-handling practices as described in this Privacy Policy, you will be notified by email and/or through a notice posted on the Website, and you may opt-out of the use of your existing information in a new manner. This Privacy Policy inures to the benefit of any successors or assigns of JobSmart or the assets of JobSmart.
